From skipowd.tv :

Micah Evangelista joins the K2 Skis roster, showcasing technical backcountry skiing across the Pacific Northwest and Japan. Following a severe pelvis injury in Hokkaido, he navigated a recovery process to return to the deep powder of Mt. Baker and Nelson. His style blends creative freestyle maneuvers with fluid lines through dense trees and steep terrain. Returning to the snow, he stomped landings in the heart of the mountains less than a year after his accident.

From Youtube :

K2 Welcomes Micah Evangelista to the team. Born and raised in Glacier, Washington, Micah parallels his passion for backcountry skiing with filmmaking in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
Year Later is a visual reflection of an injury Micah sustained in February, 2024 when he collided with a tree while skiing in Hokkaido, Japan. The collision resulted in a badly broken Pelvis which required a three-week hospital stay and surgery. He returned home for another surgery to repair multiple torn ligaments in his ankle. After spending the next five months on crutches, he began looking toward the coming winter in hopes of making his return to snow. Less than one year after his accident, he was back skiing again. We are stoked to see Micah healthy and a part of the K2 family.
