Soren Fanning

Hometown: Bozeman, Montana | Active: 2018-present | Known for: Futures Tour podium and Silver Belt 2026 invitation | Disciplines: slopestyle, rail skiing, freeride

Soren Fanning is an American freeskier from Bozeman, Montana, whose early competition years developed through the Bridger Ski Foundation. By 2021, he had won the junior men's slopestyle division at the Pacific Northwest Regional Championships at Mt. Hood Meadows and finished second in the Open Class rail jam. USASA also presented him with its Kindness Award at the end of the event.

Fanning moved into Futures Tour competition during the following winter. At Northstar on 10 March 2022, he finished third in the junior men's Futures Tour event after placing fourth at Park City earlier that season. He later competed at the 2023 USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain, finishing 26th in the FIS Open Class slopestyle field. Those results followed several seasons of Inland Northwest Series competition around Big Sky, Great Divide and Silver Mountain.

His skiing has since expanded beyond slopestyle competition. Fanning was included in the men's ski roster for the 2026 Silver Belt at Sugar Bowl, an invitational freeride event built around natural terrain and constructed kickers. He is also currently a University of Utah student and vice-president of the One Love Ski & Snowboard Club, which continues his connection to skiing after his Bridger Ski Foundation competition years.
