Simeon Glas

Active: 2019-present | Known for: LINE Skis Chronic Crew and Canyon Closed | Sponsor: LINE Skis | Disciplines: park skiing, street skiing

Simeon Glas is an American freestyle skier whose public profile is built around park, street and filmed crew projects rather than a formal competition career. Early footage from the late 2010s and early 2020s places him in the U.S. park scene, including sessions tied to Windells and western terrain parks. His skiing developed around rails, transitions and group edits before becoming more closely connected to LINE Skis.

Windells 2019: park sessions build style

Glas appeared in park-oriented edits during the 2019 period, when Windells and other summer-ski environments were central meeting points for developing North American freeskiers. His public footage from this period shows a style rooted in rails and creative park lines rather than big-air contest runs. That background later fit naturally with the LINE Chronic group, whose projects combine resort park features with street-style approaches and soft-snow sessions.

LINE 2023: Chronic Crew expands

Glas entered one of his clearest documented film roles with Canyon Closed. LINE Skis built the 2023 project around the Chronic Crew, with Jake Strassman filming and editing. Glas joined Mitchell Brower, Lisa Zimmermann, Robert Ruud, Thomas Trifonitchev, Ana Eyssimont, Pete Koukov, Dicky Thomas and Jed Waters across Alta, Snowbird and Woodward Park City.

Utah 2023: Canyon Closed follows storms

The shoot began as a park-oriented trip but shifted when storms reached Little Cottonwood Canyon. The crew moved between powder, booters and changing resort terrain while continuing to ski the LINE Chronic. Glas appears as part of the main rider group throughout the project, making Canyon Closed his strongest qualifying film credit found in this research rather than a short social edit or event recap.

LINE crew 2024: park filming continues

Glas continued appearing in LINE-oriented park content after Canyon Closed, often alongside riders from the same broader Chronic and street group. Newschoolers and other freeski outlets continued to feature edits built around these crews, while LINE kept the Chronic as one of its main freestyle platforms. His skiing remained focused on technical rails, shaped transitions and collaborative filming rather than a switch toward international contest skiing.

Current profile: LINE keeps film focus

FREESKIER coverage of the modern park scene places riders like Glas inside a generation whose public profile is often built through filmed projects rather than standings. In Glas' case, no World Cup, Nor-Am or X Games record has been found, while his strongest documented work remains tied to LINE's film output. His career therefore fits a park-and-street profile where sponsor projects and crew films carry more weight than formal competition results.
