Hometown: Gillett, Wisconsin | Active: 2023-present | Known for: Wy’East Mountain Academy and Windells coaching | Current: ski-area operations | Disciplines: freestyle skiing, park skiing
Noah Woosmann is an American skier from Gillett, Wisconsin whose path through skiing has combined freestyle training, coaching and mountain operations. He attended Wy’East Mountain Academy in Oregon and graduated in 2024 after spending the previous summer working as a counselor-in-training at Mt. Hood. That period placed him inside one of the major U.S. summer-ski environments while he continued developing around park and freestyle skiing.
During the summer of 2024, Woosmann worked as a ski coach at Windells Summer Ski Camp in Oregon. His role involved running coaching sessions and helping campers progress technically on snow. After graduating from Wy’East, he moved into Gogebic Community College’s Ski Area Management programme in Michigan, combining his skiing background with training in lift maintenance, grooming and resort operations.
Woosmann later worked in ski-hill operations at Mount Zion before joining mountain operations at Mont Ripley in 2025, where his duties included grooming and equipment inspections. His public record is therefore broader than a conventional competition profile: no World Cup, Nor-Am, X Games, Dew Tour or qualifying film project was found under his name, but his continued work across coaching, ski-area management and mountain operations documents an active professional connection to skiing.
