Unintended Risky Skiing and Unnecessary Touring | Hidden Faces Ep 9

09:43 min • 28/02/2022

From skipowd.tv :

Paul de Groot and Loïc Isliker venture into the rugged backside of Ovronnaz targeting a steep, north-facing couloir. Navigating through complex alpine terrain demands intense ski touring, precise route-finding, and exposed traverses above jagged rock faces. Once positioned atop the entrance, both freeriders commit to controlled turns down the narrow chute, battling variable snow and steep pitches. Their descent showcases raw big-mountain exploration across demanding high-alpine topography.

From Youtube :

For this adventure, we went to Ovronnaz with the goal to ski a beautiful north facing couloir on the backside of the resort. Along the way we faced some challenges and had to find a way to get top the entrance of the couloir.
