United States | Active: 2020s-present | Known for: freeride progression, Bucket Clips appearances, Pacific Northwest skiing | Current: U.S.-based independent skier

Kate Perry is a U.S.-based skier whose public profile sits closer to freeride progression and community film projects than to competition results. Oregon Outdoor Athlete Project lists skiing as her primary outdoor sport and traces her development through several American ski regions. She learned to ski in North Carolina at age 13 while living in Alabama, then moved to Washington for high school, where the Cascades opened access to bigger terrain and a more consistent mountain life.

Her skiing grew through Stevens Pass and Crystal Mountain, first with family and friends, then through steeper terrain, chutes, cliffs, and bigger inbounds hits. In her Oregon Outdoor Athlete Project interview, Perry describes becoming drawn to freeride skiing, including a cornice hit at Mt. Bachelor that had been a personal goal. That progression gives her profile a practical shape: not a contest résumé, but a skier building confidence through exposed terrain, powder days, double-black runs, and aggressive all-mountain skiing.

Perry is also listed in Bucket Clips 3, the 2024 FLINTA/female ski film project presented at iF3, and Bucket Clips 4, published by Newschoolers in November 2025. Both projects place her inside a wider international crew of women and FLINTA skiers contributing footage from street, freeride, backcountry, and park settings. Her current public identity is best read through those collective projects and her Pacific Northwest freeride background.
