Active: 2019-present | Known for: rail skiing and founding Jibskin | Disciplines: slopestyle, rail skiing
Henry Sabella is an American freestyle skier whose path through park skiing developed alongside his work in ski apparel. One of his earliest documented competition results came at Hunter Mountain in February 2019, where he finished third in the Freeski Breaker boys 12–13 category during a NYSEF slopestyle event. The result places Sabella in organised junior freeski competition before his later identity became more closely associated with rails, filming and ski culture.
By 2022, Newschoolers and the Two Planker Podcast presented Sabella as the 17-year-old founder of Jibskin and a skier shaped by the social-media era. The discussion covered his competition background, Nationals, rail skiing and the origins of Jibskin. The brand had begun commercial use in 2021 and later became a registered U.S. trademark for ski pants, jackets, fleece, shirts and other clothing.
Sabella's connection to freestyle skiing also extended into the summer scene. Max Reade later recalled meeting him while working at Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps, where the two collaborated on a pair of ski pants. Public sources document Sabella much more clearly as a rail-oriented skier and ski-industry entrepreneur than as an international contest athlete: no World Cup, X Games, Dew Tour or qualifying feature-film record was found under his name.
