Daniel Farbaniec is an American freestyle skier born in 2004 and associated with Saratoga Springs, New York. His documented connection to skiing reaches back to childhood: a 2012 Adirondack Sports feature photographed him skiing the Cave Glade at Gore Mountain. He later moved into organised freestyle competition in Vermont, where the USASA athlete database lists him in the Northern Vermont Series.
Farbaniec's competition record includes open-class slopestyle and rail events. On 1 February 2026, he finished 14th in the Open Class slopestyle at Stowe Mountain Resort with a score of 71.67. His strongest formal marker came the previous spring at Copper Mountain, where the FIS results listed him 13th in the men's freeski rail event at the 2025 U.S. National Championships.
Farbaniec also studied civil engineering at the University of Vermont, graduating in 2026, while continuing to compete in the Northern Vermont freeski scene. His public ski record remains centred on USASA and national rail/slopestyle competition rather than World Cup events, and no qualifying feature-film project has been found under his name.
