Flat light hung over Corbet's Couloir at Jackson Hole on 11 February 2025 as Ana Eyssimont dropped nineteenth into a face already cut by previous runs. Her first descent opened with clean air into the couloir before a backflip and another jump lower on the venue. The second began with a mistake at the entrance, followed by a front flip and another backflip near the bottom. The rookie had arrived at one of North America's most recognizable freeride contests after only a handful of years on skis.
Eyssimont grew up in Littleton, Colorado, with a background in competitive gymnastics before learning to ski while attending the University of Colorado Boulder. A BlackStrap athlete profile dates her first skiing to 2018 and identifies Arapahoe Basin as her first mountain. Her college friends skied park, bringing her to Keystone and Breckenridge on free days. Gymnastics supplied air awareness, while park skiing gave her an immediate setting for rotations and inverted tricks before she moved toward freeride terrain.
Canyon Closed brought Eyssimont into LINE Skis' Chronic Crew in Utah. Mitchell Brower, Lisa Zimmermann, Robert Ruud, Thomas Trifonitchev, Pete Koukov, Dicky Thomas, Simeon Glas and Jed Waters joined her across Alta, Snowbird and Woodward Park City. Jake Strassman filmed and edited the project. A sunny park week changed when storms reached Little Cottonwood Canyon, shifting the crew toward powder, booters and mixed terrain while they stayed on LINE's Chronic 101.
Later in 2023, Tokujo Buta placed Eyssimont in Japan with Tom Wallisch, James Woods, Mitchell Brower, Robert Ruud, Sena Fuji, Rachael Anderson, Dylan Siggers, Taylor Lundquist, Tatsuya Yamagishi and Ryo Negishi. Jake Strassman filmed and edited the LINE Skis project during a week based at Myoko Kogen. Deep powder, avalanche barriers, tree gaps and cliff drops supplied the terrain after the group travelled from Tokyo by Shinkansen to its mountain base.
Fully Cooked reduced the crew to Eyssimont, Jonnie Merrill, Garrett Capel and Ben Richards for five days at Blanket Glacier Chalet in British Columbia's Monashee Mountains. The helicopter-accessed hut put the group into deep snow complicated by firm crust and awkward terrain features. Jake Strassman handled the video. The seven-minute LINE Skis cut moved through powder skiing, pillows and powsurfing while the four athletes tested the Vision collection in conditions that changed from one feature to the next.
What's Your Number? came from three weeks in February around Valemount, British Columbia. Nick Nault and Lucas Reid filmed a LINE freeride group containing Eyssimont, Dylan Siggers, Garrett Capel, Ben Richards, Rachael Anderson, Jake Hopfinger, Jonnie Merrill, Kate Targett, Liam Morgan, Wing Tai Barrymore and Val Festevan. Snowmobile access led to powder lines, natural terrain and backcountry booters, while Siggers edited the finished LINE Skis DIY project.
At her first Kings & Queens of Corbet's, Eyssimont finished first in the women's ski category and became the 2025 Queen of Corbet's. Claire McPherson placed second and Piper Kunst third. The athletes judged the contest themselves after the runs. Eyssimont also finished third at Sugar Bowl's Silver Belt later that spring, behind Hannah Epsteyn and Indy Boyer. In the 2026 edition at Jackson Hole, she returned and placed fourth in ski.
Ski The Day brought Eyssimont into a Backcountry production directed by Sunn Kim. The film used one-day missions across Utah, moving between park laps, skintracks, night skiing and snowmobile-accessed backcountry terrain, with an additional heli session near Wanaka in New Zealand. Eyssimont appeared alongside Parkin Costain, Toby Miller, Tom Wallisch and other athletes. Backcountry also added her to its athlete team for the 2025/26 season.
